Customer Appreciation Events
The Ohio Turnpike hosts Customer Appreciation Events at various service plazas ahead of the busiest travel holidays of the year. During these events, customers and travelers and their families will find helpful information on roadway safety and travel destinations across the state. Safety partners include the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Bowling Green State University - Firelands Campus (human trafficking prevention), ROTH ID TAG (for passengers and car seats), and others. In addition, guests can enjoy complimentary food and beverage items from participating service plaza partners as well as spin an electronic prize wheel to win Ohio Turnpike merchandise.

- Friday, Sept. 4: Erie Islands Service Plaza -- Milepost 100 westbound (Clyde) -- Labor Day Travel Safety
- Wednesday, Nov. 25: Middle Ridge Service Plaza -- Milepost 139.5 westbound (Amherst) --Thanksgiving Travel Safety
